Title
I believe that although humans can dramatically influence the environment around us we have no power over this, I believe in climate change rather responds to natural changes in the planet, and have had them before without being attributed responsibility to humans.Just as before the earth changes end with glaciers, volcanoes (about Natural big polluters by the way) changed the appearance of many places, including territories disappeared, the earth is an entity that changes its nature.
It is important to always respect our environment, improve as civilized beings are supposed, but still do not have power over the events that surround us.
Al Gore warns usabout the danger posed by the lack of response to climate change, which would end up having a major impact on our planet.
The atmosphere is filled with pollution that leads to global warming of the Earth.
The earth is surrounded by a gaseous layer is atmosphere. The atmosphere is not uniform in their latitude in their height, having variations mainly the density and temperature. It consists oftroposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere and exosphere.
The troposphere is the lowest layer of the atmosphere and is therefore in contact with the surface of the Earth. Therein lies its importance. Comparing with the thickness of the entire atmosphere is a thin layer, but which contains most of the mass of air (can reach 10 or 12 kilometers).
The Sun's radiation reaching the Earth andreturns to the atmosphere as shortwave. May be retained in the atmosphere by certain gases. In the absence of these gases radiation had dissipated to the outside atmosphere. This is what we call the greenhouse effect.
Thanks to this absorption has occurred since forever, the Earth has life, as we know it as today, as much water vapor as CO2 as part of the atmosphere cause the average temperature ofthe Earth is of 15 º C. This greenhouse is known as the natural greenhouse effect.
Carbon dioxide is produced by respiration of living organisms, by combustion, by certain chemical reactions, by the consumption of fossil fuels, wood combustion, cement production etc.
The large production of carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases such as methane, nitrous oxide, tropospheric ozone, halocarbons (CFCs)and other lesser extent contributed to the increase in the concentration of these gases in the atmosphere, accounting for greenhouse artificial, caused mostly by humans, causing a rise in temperature of the Earth.
Monitoring the proportion of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is made from the year 1957, where constantly daily weather balloons launched to monitor developments.
Such monitoring isof great interest for studying climate change and for forecasting and trend of them later in life. Currently there are many stations that provide values of the ratio of CO2 on a global scale.
The amount of carbon dioxide that was in the first measurements was 314 parts per million, but at the beginning of the industrial age, the ratio was 294 parts per million.
CO2 curve presents a profilesaw, so that during the summer in each hemisphere decreases the proportion of CO2 due to plant photosynthesis. In winter is severe growth and decline than summer. This is because in the winter period drastically decreases photosynthesis and plant originates both a large consumption of fossil fuels for heating, industry, coal power plants, cars and so on., Especially in the Northern Hemisphere becausethis hemisphere is where the largest man-made emissions, because it is where are the major industrialized areas of the world.
The annual increase of CO2 amounts to 1.8 parts per million with a tendency to accelerate. At present the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere now exceeds 354 parts per million.
So far, the atmosphere has received response mechanisms as emissions have been growing,...
