Acquired: refers to non congenital.
Immune: on the system defences.
Syndrome: a set of signs and symptoms.
Therefore aids is a retrovirus thatattacks the body's defences and alters the ability to defend itself from diseases caused by other viruses, bacteria, and parasites, and It can transmit through direct contact of bloodstream with a fluidcontaining HIV, such as blood, semen, vaginal fluid, and breast milk, that’s why when you decide go to bed with anybody, you must be responsible and you have to use condom, anybody can get aids, butis isn’t necessary that you have to keep away from this person, because you have to be respectful with anybody because this virus doesn’t transmit trough the air, clothes or when you take in one´sarms,but now I am going to speak about information about aids:
How do you get aids?
You don't actually "get" AIDS but later on you might develop AIDS. You can get infected with HIV from anyone who'sinfected, in spite that they don't look sick or they haven't tested HIV-positive yet. There are no documented cases of HIV being transmitted by tears or saliva, but it is possible to be infected withHIV through oral sex or in rare cases through deep kissing, especially if you have open sores in your mouth or bleeding gums.
How can anybody transmit aids?
• Bloodstream, for example when you haveto go to medic exam and your doctor doesn´t change needles and syringe.
• Sexual intercourse, it isn’t too important that you are gay.
• Or when a women has aids in spite that she is pregnant orshe has a baby; she can transmit aids to her baby, but if she must start to have a medical treatment and she have to avoid to feed on milk
