Human beings throughout history have had to struggle with numerous things. High and low temperatures have been battles won without much difficulty in the 20century. Air conditioning and Heating are now not only important to have comfort; it is not just a luxury. No heat in a very cold weather or air conditioning in hot climates can make people fall veryseriously ill. The heater raises the temperature in an area in a satisfactory level. Air-conditioning system controls the interior environment (temperature, humidity, and air circulation) for theconvenience of people or to preserve materials that are stored there.
In 1937, the United States of America began the sale of hot air; the system was giving air to a hot electrical resistance. After,the system was applied in a closed water circuit which circulated internally at one point by applying heat (boiler) with either gas, wood, electricity, coal. It was extremely useful in countries wheretemperatures drop to extreme degrees. The heat has gone through several stages since its inception. In ancient times, it was used as a method of heating the fire in the room. Around humans were addingdevices to improve performance such as chimney to evacuate the smoke. The Romans invented the first heating system, where the fire was not in the same room. It was called Hypocaust, which consistedof a series of ducts under the flooring that had the hot gases from a fire in another room. Benjamin Franklin invented in 1742 the cast-iron stove, or what he called the Pennsylvania Fireplace and weknow today as the Franklin stove. The appliance allowed people to warm their homes less dangerously and with less wood. The first artifact not integrated into the construction, which allows bettercombustion control and better control of smoke, which also meant a saving of fuel.
