All Schools Should Have Air-Conditioning

Heat and working, are two things that don’t mix really well. In my opinion, it is necessary for all schools to be air-conditioned. Students don’tconcentrate well if they’re drenched in sweat and if the school had air-conditioning, the students wouldn’t be so exhausted throughout the day. The students would have a risk of getting any heat-relatedillnesses also. Some schools may be on a tight budget and probably can’t to but air-conditioning in the classrooms, that’s a main reason why some schools are so hot.
Students suffer with the heat day byday in school. It’s harder for them to concentrate when they’re drenched in their sweat and it’s pouring down their faces. If the school was air-conditioned, they wouldn’t feel all sticky and ickyeither. They’d actually feel a lot more comfortable too. It is proven that students focus better in a cooler environment instead of hot. When people are too warm, they get sleepy and lazy. The cooler airkeeps the mind sharp. Students wouldn’t be so exhausted and they’d be able to learn and concentrate better. The teachers can’t teach either if they feel uncomfortable. I say this because I don’tconcentrate too well when I’m at school and it’s blazing hot. Also, with them not being able to focus to well, it can cause their grades to drop.
Students are in school 7-8 hours a day, and it getspretty hot throughout those hours. Some students play sports during recess and lunch which causes them to feel even more heat, and then they go into a blazing hot classroom. Some heat-related illnesses canoccur. A student could end up going home with a bad headache. Other illnesses can be more severe like a heat cramp or even maybe a heat stroke, and it’s no fun getting those.
