ARGO
Argo movie was directed by Ben Affleck, a movie in which took place in 1979 during the Iran crisis. Iran had a leader that wentby the name of Shah who wanted to have a modernized Iran. Many Iranians did not like his point of view and what he believed in. The Shah was aided by the United States and was getting medical help. Hewas no longer appointed leader. They had another leader appointed by the Iranian Parliament named Mohammed.
When Mohammed was appointed leader the situation got out of hand in Iran. Riots andgroups were forming around the United States Iranian Embassy. People overwhelmed the embassy and broke into the embassy. While this Riot was forming the Americans in the embassy started to burn thenshred all classified paper work. Six Americans had gotten away and went to the home of the Canadian ambassador named Ken Taylor. The rest of the Americans were taken as hostages. Time was passing andthe United States CIA was trying to figure out what they can do for the six Americans that got away. One CIA agent by the name of Tony Mendez decides, after speaking with his son who was watching planetof the apes, that they can fake a movie film shot in Iran and rescue the six Americans. While all this was planning was occurring in the CIA the Iranians were working hard to get all the names of thecaptives or who was working in the United States Embassy by putting together the shredded paper work together manually. Some of the shredding was pictures of the associates working in the embassy.Other shredding were names of the associates that were working in the embassy.
In the beginning the CIA plan of faking a movie was not such a good idea but since it was the only option they had, itwas approved. Detective Tony Mendez calls the producer that made planet of the apes. They agreed that they can do that and created a slight media buzz about the movie Argo. People around California...
