Hello everybody, I’m here again!

Today I’m in Ambato. Do you remember that Iwas born there? Yeah, I live in Sangolquí but I’m from Ambato. Here in Ecuador, we’re on vacation for a few days, because it’s November and in this month wecelebrate “The day of dead people”. It sounds rare, I know. In this day, everybody visits their dead relatives. It’s a tradition to eat the called “guaga de pan” and“colada morada”. Probably nobody knows what I’m talking about. Does it? So, I’m going to explain you. At first “guagua de pan” is a word which comes from Quichua,a native language of Ecuador. It means baby, and in this case if refers to a baby girl who represents the body of a dead person. But what is the meaning of“colada morada”? Yeah, I almost forgot it. “Colada morada” is a kind of drink made of different types of corn and spices. It represents the blood of dead people. Well,all of these activities take place around all my country. But in Ambato we have a special way to celebrate this day. For many years, people from here and othercities, organize a kind of fair along streets. They offered handicrafts made of mud. They’re so beautiful! Of course this is an opportunity to show our productsto the world. So anyway, I’ve to go out right now. I’m going to buy some mud pots. See you later.
