Introduction
All over the world, millions of students are studying the English language. They realize the importance
of speaking English in order to reach their professionaland social goals, so they work hard, day and night with the goal of speaking English well. But here is the shocking truth! Unfortunately, they may never reach their goal because their education is not complete. There is a piece missing from the puzzle. Something critical is missing from their education-Nobody is teaching them pronunciation. Pronunciation is one of the most important but ignoredaspects of learning to speak English. Without proper pronunciation, proper grammar and a large vocabulary are practically useless. Studying English pronunciation is particularly important because the English sound system contains many sounds not found in other languages. In addition, the pronunciation of a word in English doesn't always correspond to the way it's written. Beyond this, there isanother reason that English pronunciation is a necessary part of your education. It is a reason related more to our psychology as human beings. What you say is only fifty percent of “the game.” The other half is how you say it. Think of successful people in your country- businessmen, politicians and entertainers. Some of the most influential and successful people in the world have an averagevocabulary and intelligence but they have an extraordinary way of saying things that has resulted in their success and getting ahead.
