Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
(Salzburg, 1756 - Vienna, 1791)
Austrian composer born in Salzburg on January 27, 1756. His prodigious musical gifts were soon found by his father, Leopold, who decided to educate and simultaneously exhibit (along with big sister Nannerl - Maria Anna -) as a source of income. At the age of six, Mozart was an interpreter and advanced instruments and an effective keyviolin, while demonstrating a remarkable capacity for improvisation and reading scores.
