Both Anorexia and Bulimia Affect The People Who Practice It

Anorexia and bulimia are very dangerous illness. As a teenager a have seen a lot of cases. This usually occurs in teenage girls, butcan occur in teenage boys, adult women and men. Both eating disorders typically begin after a period of dieting by people who are fearful of becoming obese; driven to become thin; preoccupied withfood, weight, and appearance; and struggling with feelings of depression, anxiety, and the need to be perfect. Since they are eating disorders they have some negative effects on the human body. One ofthem is medical or health problems. Another negative effect mental issues and damages. Social situations are also a consequence.
Anorexia is mostly starvation this eating disorder is thought tooriginate from an obsessive fear of gaining weight due to a distorted self image. Individuals suffering from anorexia have extreme weight loss. Weight loss is usually 15% below the person's normal bodyweight. Some of the common techniques used are excessive exercise, intake of laxatives and not eating and of course this has bad consequences. There are many medical risks associated with anorexia.They include: shrunken bones, mineral loss, low body temperature, irregular heartbeat, permanent failure of normal growth, infertility, development of osteoporosis, kidney damage, and seizures. Theyare also mental conditions that appear because of it some are: Clinical depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, substance abuse, one or more personality disorders, High-levels of anxiety anddepression are likely to be present. Al this things have an affect serious and it presents on the social behavior Some of they are isolated, they put on big cloth, they have fear of eating in public,concerned about being judged for overeating or being overweight, and may develop unusual patterns or rituals such as shifting food around on their plate or cutting food into tiny pieces and not eating it...
