This business plan is about a retail store located in Westfield Bondi Junction, the biggest shopping centre of the Ester Suburbs in Sydney. Bodum store is opened 7 days a weekin the shopping centre opening hours. Bodum is an international design company 100% family-owned business specialized in home products. Its mission is to produce high quality designs trying to satisfied customers needs and makes easier their daily life and their vision is to be a profitable company with an annual net profit of 5 and to have an excellent relationship with customers, competitorsand the environment. As a franchise Bodum store has to follow specific rules about training, merchandising and has legal responsibilities with its matrix house.

Market and industry analysis show an excellent panorama for the business with a retail industry growing up and Australian economics as one of the best in the world. Marketing campaigns will be focus on reach people living on theester suburbs and will promote the business through the coffee shops around there. The business shows a favorable financial situation with a net income of $100.000, controllable liabilities and other investments producing interest to the business. Bodum is an international designcompany with stores in all over the world focus in kitchen products, accessories and specialist in products used for the coffee and tea lovers

4. Purpose
BODUM®, is a family owned company, was founded in 1944 in Copenhagen, Denmark by Peter Bodum. The founder succeeded in positioning BODUM® internationally already in the 1960’s owing to his unique concept: development of products,which consistently pay tribute to functionality, quality and affordability.

History:

At BODUM®’s early stage, the founder recognized the importance of industrial design. Peter Bodum designed the vacuum coffee maker Santos. It was internationally acclaimed for its unique design and in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s it became one of the most important coffee makers worldwide.

In1974, the 26-year-old Jorgen Bodum, the founder’s son, took over the BODUM ® Company with the ambition of respecting BODUM®’s traditions and creative work with visionary ideas.

Already in 1974, Jorgen Bodum manifested the company’s philosophy of design with the launch of BODUM®’s first coffee press – Bistro. Selected as the most environment friendly coffee maker and awarded by the mostprestigious international and Danish design awards.

Four years later, the new CEO Jorgen Bodum, moved the company to Switzerland to strategically locate BODUM® in central Europe.

BODUM® then began to open stores and shop in shops in cities all over the world: Paris, Copenhagen, Zurich, Lucerne, Tokyo, New York, Sydney, Okinawa, Auckland and many more.
