CATEDRAL DE LINCOLN – FACHADA OESTE

3º MAGISTERIO DE INGLÉS CURSO 2010-11

INTRODUCCIÓN He elegido este tema principalmente porque tenía claro que quería descubrir algo más sobre la arquitectura gótica en Inglaterra la cual apenas he tenido oportunidad de estudiar durante toda mi formación académica. Además, la elección de la fachada oeste de la Catedral de Lincoln se vio principalmentemotivada por su peculiar forma, la cual me llamó especialmente la atención. A esto le debemos añadir la enorme curiosidad que me produjo posteriormente el descubrimiento de que dicha parte de la catedral tenía gran parte de controversia por saber cuál era su función original.
