Cheats

Below are the cheats, hints, and tips that Game Gas knows about for Return to Castle Wolfenstein. On the right are websites that may have additional cheat codes, hints, or tips for Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
Cheat Codes (client)
The following codes will work on the single player retail version of the game, and only on a saved game. They do not work in the demo or multi-player games. Edityour Windows 9x/ME Desktop Shortcut for the game and change the "Target" field to:

"C:\Program Files\Return to Castle Wolfenstein\WolfSP.exe" +set sv_cheats 1

If using Windows XP, right click on the single play shortcut. On the "Command Line", make sure the command line is in quotes and add +set sv_cheats after two spaces, so it resembles:

"drive:\path\folder\WolfSP.exe" +set sv_cheats 1Notice that there are two spaces between the last " and the + in the Windows XP shortcut.

Edit the path as necessary if you installed the game to another location. Start the game. While playing a game, press ~ to display the console window. Enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function:

Change name
While playing a game, press ~ to display the console window. Enter "/name [value]" to change the player's name and color. To change colors, include one of the following entries.

^1: Red
^2: Green
^3: Yellow
^4: Blue
^5: Light Blue
^6: Pink
^7: White
^8: Black^9: Red

For example, to change your name to "AmericaTheBeautiful" in red, white, and blue, enter "/name ^1America^7The^4Beautiful".
