Summary:
The purpose of this experiment is to examine the behavior of strong electrolytes, weak electrolytes, and nonelectrolytes by measuring the electrical conductivity of various solutions.Secondly, we will use the conductivity of a solution as a way to monitor the progress of a chemical reaction. Then go through a process of tritation use the equivalence point, at which equal molar amountsof the reactants have been combined, to determine the concentration of a solution. This behavior demonstrates that for a given amount of barium hydroxide, only a specific amount of sulfuric acid canreact. The excess, unreacted sulfuric acid is responsible for the increasing conductivity.
