what a boring day Will and Julia were
at home watching the rain splashing on the window. It
was raining too heavily to use
their new roller blades. It wasn't fair, horrible rain
Julia suggestedthey play a dress-up
game. Mom had a large chest of old clothes
in the attic.
Will and Julia climbed the stairs and pushed open the attic door. Will moved abig
photograph album and opened thechest to look at the clothes. Julia started looking at
the album.
Look at these old pictures, Julia said.
They are all of Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa when they were younger. There are
some of us,too.
As Julia handed Will the album. he sneezed.
The album crashed to the floor. Photographs flew everywhere.
Will shouted Julia. Mom is going to kill us.
Don't worry, we can sort this out, Willanswered confidently.
We just have to match the photos with the captions.
They sat down and looked at the mess. It
was going to be a long afternoon.

Will and Julia sat looking the photos.
They couldn't believe how old some of them were.
This one's from 1943, saidWill. It was a picture
of a beautiful baby. On the back it said,
September 11, 1943, San Francisco.

Hey that is Grandma is birthday cried
Julia. It must be Grandma.
All the photographs had dateson the back
and one by one, Will and Julia put them in their
correct places in the album.
This is just like doing a jigsaw puzzle, Will said
