Peter andMary lived in a big metropolis, in a villa near a museum.
One morning Mary got up early and went outside their home in pyjamas to pick up the leaves that have fallen off the trees and were everywherein the path and the garden. Then, she realised that there was only one leaf in a tree, the last autumn. leaf
Winter was coming and she imagined all the streets and villas covered with snow. Shedidn’t like the snow at all because she worked in a bureau which was far from their house. There were a lot of grouses about the bureaux there, because there were no lifts and so she and her co-workers hadto walk up the stairs every single day of the year. Moreover, she never got bonuses on her wage, and she was thinking of making a grouse to get an added bonus on her next salary.
Another thing shedidn’t like from the winter was to collect brush to make fire on their fireplace.
On the other hand, Peter never complained about anything. He was the owner of two museums which were visited by peoplefrom other metropolises all over the year. Those museums were famous because there people could find shelves full of albums from the best recognised bands of the world such as John Lennon, Bob Marley,the Rolling Stones and many others, and in each shelf there was an index with every album which was there. Indexes were very helpful in the museum for that reason.
Peter also enjoyed playing dice,which involved a lot of travel to other cities where there were competitions, but he unfortunately he was not lucky in that kind of games, so he went hunting grouse from time to time because he alsoliked a bit of action.
