St. James Way

More than a simple Adventure Holiday

After having listened to all my classmates adventure holidays the one that captured my attention was St. James Way. Itwas the first time I heard about that route that many people in Europe embark on at any time during the year had for more or less one week. The first thought that came into my headwas that young people like me should experience this different way to get closer to the Apostle St. James, but mist important of all to God.

Currently, young people not showtheir faith for fear of being judged. I think this can be an opportunity to get rid of that feat by showing what they really believe in. It will be a good opportunity for people ourage to stop thinking in prejudices because they will see many people doing this pilgrimage, and they will feel safe and secure knowing that other people like them are doing thesame for a purpose.

Moreover, I expect they will have the chance to meditate and look inside themselves and discover what they are, what their beliefs are, and what kind ofperson they want to become and so on. They will have time to think about everything that perhaps couldn’t do in their daily life because they are too busy and they don’t get time forthemselves.

On the other hand they will meet so many people of different ages, different cities, different ways of life, different beliefs. They will realize that there is moreto the world than they see and they will stop thinking in a selfish way and star working like a team to follow this cultural and spiritual journey.

Finally, I will suggest toevery young person to join this pilgrimages I think is a life-changing experience because it is not the usual trip: It’s something deeper that can make you a better person.
