Computer Games: Advantage or Harm?

In the beginning of the 20th century, the phenomenon of Electronic Devices has started. As the years passed it begins to flourished, and it is known as anordinary part of the day to day life of man. In this generation, video gaming has become one of the biggest values of entertainment for the typical consumer. It represents a huge part of the mass media inAmerican culture and is a form of entertainment that can also exercise the mind, reflexes, logic, and interpretive skills. Nowadays computer and video games are becoming very popular. Like all othertopics everything has its pros and cons. But, could games like these can be harming the young people who play them? There are many arguments that can be considerate very important in this topic.

Oneof the most common criticisms of video games is that they increase violent tendencies among the youth players. Parents are very concerned with their children playing violent video games because theyfeel it influences their actions.
Playing violent computer games can increase a person's aggressive thoughts, feelings, and behavior according to studies. Each year the industry makes billions ofdollars, which surpasses the income that movies or DVD’s can bring in a year.

The influence of video games has been so great on modern American culture, which includes having an effect on televisionshows and Hollywood movies. More films are getting produced based off of highly popular games like Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, Super Mario Bros., etc.

Having consider all these arguments I hardlybelieve that not always a video game produces in young people a harm at all. In my humble opinion they are many things that we have to consider to really believe that they can be dangerous.
