Configuracion zimbra
Sistema Operativo: Centos 5.5 32 bits
IP:11.11.11.14/24
G: 11.11.11.1 (es un firewall Centos con Iptables, IP externo: 192.168.1.15)
DNS: 192.168.1.30 (un DNS externo donde se encuentra los registros MX del dominio vulqan.com)
Host: mail.vulqan.com
En el DNS Externo se tiene el registro MX con la IP 192.168.1.15 y host mail.vulqan.com
Usaremos el DNS interno yun DNS externo.
VERIFICAMOS ARCHIVOS DE CONFIGURACION
[root@mail ~]# cat /etc/hosts

PREPARANDO LINUX PARA EL SOFTWARE ZIMBRA
Primero chequeamos que no tengamos ninguna restricción habilitada como el iptables o el SElinux
Deshabilitar SELinux.
Para ello modificaremos si es necesario
[root@mail ~]# cat/etc/selinux/config
SELINUX=disabled
Deshabilitar los servicios para que no se ejecuten: (podemos usar setup)
• Servicio de “iptables”
• Servicio de “ip6tables”
Deshabilitar servicio de Sendmail y httpd si se encuentran
[root@mail ~]# chkconfig --level 345 sendmail off
[root@mail ~]# chkconfig --level 345 httpd off
[root@mail ~]# service sendmail stop
[root@mail ~]# service httpdstop
Otra forma
[root@mail ]#/etc/init.d/sendmail stop
[root@mail ]#/etc/init.d/httpd stop
Nota: Si vamos a tener solo un correo interno levantamos un DNS interno con BIND
root@mail ]#/etc/init.d/named start
root@mail ]#chkconfig --level 345 named on
Y configuramos los archivos respectivos
INSTALACION Y PRE-REQUISITOS DE ZIMBRA
En un terminal, como root, colocamos:
# yum update
