ATLAS HIDROLÓGICO DE LAS CUENCAS CHIRA Y PIURA UBICADAS EN EL DEPARTAMENTO DE PIURA

RESUMEN El Atlas Hidrológico de las cuencas: Chira (zona peruana) y Piura; hasido desarrollado teniendo como base las variables del ciclo hidrológico, con la finalidad de caracterizar su distribución espacial y temporal representativa del periodo 19691999. Los datos analizados corresponden al Banco de Datos del SENAMHI. A esta información se le realizaron procesos de: consistencia, completado y extensión. Los métodos aplicados fueron: análisis de componentes principales conel fin de agrupar series homogéneas y la técnica de regionalización para extrapolar datos a lugares donde no se miden. Se analizó los gradientes de cada variable del ciclo hidrológico con el fin de conocer la variación de su intensidad en función de la altitud. Para el análisis de caudales se tomaron como referencia los medidos en la estación El Ciruelo y Pte. Piura así como para la elaboraciónde las curvas de duración y las curvas de frecuencias que representa la disponibilidad del caudal a 10%, 25%, 50%, 75% y 90% de probabilidad de ocurrencia. Los mapas de isolíneas fueron elaborados en el programa SURFER, éstas salidas fueron exportados en extensión SHP para obtener los valores areales en el programa ARCINFO y finalmente realizar su edición en ARCVIEW. Por otro lado, debido a lanaturaleza de los datos hidrometeorológicos que frecuentemente son series heterogéneas en calidad y cantidad, de distribución espacial no idónea y de variabilidad temporal muy notable, además de la influencia del relieve que suele introducir variaciones difícilmente replicable, debe considerarse que los mapas han sido elaborados para contar con una información fiable y lo más completa posiblerepresentando patrones medios. SUMMARY The hydrologic Atlas of the basins: Peruvian zone Chira and Piura; has been developed having as it bases the variables of the hydrologic cycle, with the purpose to characterize his space and temporary distribution representative of the period 1969-1999. The analyzed data correspond to the Data bank of the SENAMHI, this information were made processes of: consistency,completed and extension. The applied methods were: analysis principals components with the purpose of grouping homogenous series and the regionalization technique to extrapolate data where they are not measure. One analyzed the gradients of each variable of the hydrologic cycle with the purpose of know the variation its intensity function on the altitude. For the analysis of runoff El Ciruelo andPiura bridge took themselves like reference measured in the station as well as for the elaboration of the duration curves and the curves of frequencies that the availabili ty of the runoff represents 10%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 90% of occurrence probability.
