Dance is and has always been my passion, maybe its the control of the dancer to execute each move or, it could be thelook on the dancer’s face that says they are loving what they are doing? Either way, I absolutely love dance. It brings such joy for so manypeople.
Some people may disagree and say: “Dance is not a sport”, but I say it is. Sports require push your body to reach its maximum performancelevel, such as body- builders must exercise and prepare their bodies, dancers too. Body-builders have large, bulky and strong muscles becauseof foods that they eat and the work-outs they do; dancers have long, lean and strong muscles because they do different work-outs thanbody-builders.
Dance is great! However it still has some issues that come with it. For example, you may suffer a lot of injuries due to mistakes orimproper stretching, and it is a lot of work and dedication to be good at it. Even though it is a lot of work with a lot of risks, I believethat its good outweighs the bad.
Dance has helped me in a lot of areas, I am athletic, strong and I have high self-esteem; I am encourage nowmore than ever to try my best in class, at competitions and in life in general.
Dance is a perfect example of something I want to be when Iam older; I know I am not totally ready now, but I can strive to become better as I get older. And that is why dance is my favorite sport.
