I hope you are well! Thank you for your prayers and support, as well as gathering together tomorrow as a team. What a wonderful crew!
Allis well here. I have a high school graduate, Tamsin, interning with me for a month. She is helping type information into a new database for my ministry (yes!) She isalso having lots of fun with the youth from our house and church.
Tomorrow my college friend, Cacie, and her pastor’s daughter, Faith, arrive in Pucallpa at 7 a.m. Theyare going to spend 2 weeks here (thereby overlapping with Tamsin for the second half of her internship). We are going to the farm from Tuesday through Thursday (I can’twait to see the cattle troughs now that the water pump is installed!) Then we have an all-day retreat with our church’s praise and worship team. We have a lunchappointment at the house of one of the scholarship students who Cacie helps support, and we are going to visit several satellite churches.
Preparations for the all-state event atour church on July 30 are going well. The painters are refinishing the wood doors and repainting the walls…there is scaffolding covering the façade of the church whichreminds me of construction days. We had our first rehearsal last Monday; it went well, and we only have 8 minutes to trim from our program (our goal for the service isone hour). The choir sounds beautiful and looks great on the wood risers that we built last week.
I would appreciate your prayers for all of the above, as well as for mytrip to the States in October/November. May the Lord open the doors, opportunities, and prayer times that are in His heart and plan.
I send my love to all of you,
