Metal-edged ruler
Butter knife
Scissors or X-ACTO knife
Cutting mat (optional)
Multipurpose glue

GATHER ALL
MATERIALS
BEFORE YOU
START.

CUT SOLID LINES
Using scissors or anX-ACTO knife
and cutting mat, cut along solid
lines of all pieces as instructed.
SCORE DASHED LINES
Using a ruler as a guide, run the
back side of a butter knife firmly
along all the dashed lines.1

Cut out and score head piece. Make sure to cut the small
slit on head and the ‘X’ on the back flap. Fold along score
marks. Glue the ‘A’ tabs to the inside of the back flap.
Insert bradthrough hole in the back of the head, from
the inside pointing out.

Glue the ‘B’ tabs to the inside of the front of the head.
The fold line in tab ‘B’ should align with the inner creaseabove the eyes.

Cut out crown piece and glue the two ends together.

Apply glue to inside of tab ‘A’ and insert
into the slot in head andfold back. Glue
tab ‘B’ to the back of the head piece.

Cut out the ears along the outer grey
line. Score along the dotted line. Glue
and fold. Allow to dry, then cut out
along the solid line onthe ‘back’ side.
Use an X-acto knife to cut the ‘X’ hole.

Cut out wing ‘A’ along the outer grey
line. Score along the dotted lines. Glue
and fold. Allow glue to dry then cut out
along thesolid line on the ‘front’ side.
Repeat the proccess for wing ‘B’.

Insert brad on head through ‘X’ hole in ears
so that side labled ‘back’ is facingaway from
head. Next insert brad through the ‘X’ hole in
the body and splay brad to secure.

Cut out and score the body section. Insert
wing ‘A’ into to the ‘V’ slit so that the side
labled ‘A’is facing forward. Fold down tab
and glue to underside. Repeat with wing ‘B’
on opposite side.

Fold sides of body down and glue in place. For the final
touches slightly curl the trunk up...
