1. Given the results of Graph 1, what factors could explain the differences in the relative positions of countries in the graph?

With the results that we got in the first Graph, wecan see that USA and Canada that are countries developed have the highest emissions of carbon dioxide because they are countries located in the northern Hemisphere so they are exposed to weatherstations where the temperature could be really low. Due to this circumstance people have to use more heaters especially in winter stations so they will produce more emissions of carbon dioxide. In summerit’s really common that people use air conditioning everywhere especially on the cars and they usually have their own car to carry to other place so it will increase the carbon dioxide.
Such there areindustrialized countries, the emissions of carbon dioxide are huge because the factories especially that have their activities on making electronic devices, textile factory, and body care factoriesand others.
China that is a highly advanced technological development has to be in the top of the graph because all his inventions have relation with the CO2 emissions. Therefore China has his energysupply per capita proportional to CO2 emissions in spite of that it is a country really populated.
Sweden it is a country that all the time is cold weather so the graph shows that energy supply isreally and the production of CO2 is really low because they are accustomed to live under low temperatures so they not usually use the heaters to get warm on their houses and jobs.
Norway and Finlandhave to be in the same level like Sweden because they are countries closed so the weather conditions are the same. But from the results of the graph we can see that these countries got high levels ofenergy supply because during most of the year the sun doesn’t shine during all day but just for few hours so it will generate more energy supply and the statistics of the CO2 emissions will...
