Part A: Starting Your Own Business

Imagine that you want to start your own business that will require a minimum of three employees. Please perform the following:

1.) Write asingle introduction paragraph of the type of business you would like to deploy.

2.) Determine the primary roles your employees will have, and explain why.

3.) Determine how you will communicatewith and determine how to elicit network requirements from users and information technology departments.

4.) Determine the type of network you will use and include:

a. Network topology andexplain your reasoning

b. Number of work stations required

c. Type of switch or router or combination switch router with explanation

4.) Determine if you will need a client / server network orjust stand alone workstations and provide reasoning for either selection.

5.) Select a database and / or accounting system and the reasoning for your selection

6.) Determine Workstation CPU andMemory requirements for each of the workstations with respect to the employee roles and provide a reason for your selections.

7.) Determine how you will communicate network requirements to a vendor.Please submit your written response as a single Word document. I expect this assignment to be in a well-written exposition that is focused on its topic and provides facts in order to inform. Itshould be unbiased, accurate, and use a scholarly third person tone. This assignment must be well referenced (at least three) and double-spaced. You must include a title page, introduction, body,conclusion, and references. The body should correspond to the grading criteria. This paper should be between three to five pages, excluding the title and reference pages.
