THE HOLIDAY

This holiday weekend I went to Cuernavaca; this is the capital of the state of Morelos, located 52 miles (84km) south of Mexico City.
Cuernavaca is also called the “land of eternalspring”. Cuernavaca is known for its spas and spiritual sites as for its perfect climate and flowering landscapes.
Today Cuernavaca remains the most popular weekend getaway for moneyed residents ofMexico City. As a result, the roads between the capital and Cuernavaca are jammed almost every weekend, but you can avoid some of the crowds by traveling early in the morning.
There are lots ofplaces where you can go and have some fun like; golf courses, spas and many archeological sites, including the Pyramid of Teopanzolco, there are other archeological sites in Morelos such as Tepoztlan,Xochicalco, Xochitepec. Also there are new and old museums and churches. Cuernavaca is well known for its aquatic resorts (El rollo, Ex hacienda de Temixco, Las Estacas), lakes (Tequesquitengo) and parks(Borda’s Garden) where you will have a wonderful day and enjoying the fresh air and have a nice time.
The biggest mall is Galerias Cuernavaca with a variety of shops, restaurants and a cinema.Cuernavaca has also a very interesting nightlife, there are many discos and nightclubs with a cosmopolitan ambiance or traditional, live music and friendly people, and you can find several optionsavailable to choose such as zhoa, taizz, ahma, bull, and dubai.
Most of the people who live at Cuernavaca have a very simple and traditional life.
Almost every weekend people gather together to have nicepool parties and barbecues.
This last weekend I went to Cuernavaca with my cousins and my sister because we had a pool party.
We arrived on Friday in the morning but before we ate at Tres Marias; itis a place over road, where you can eat typical such as quesadillas, tlacoyos, cecina, tacos and lots of typical Mexican food.
