The book "James and the Giant Peach" tells a story about a boy named James who lived with
his two mean aunts because his parents died in an accident. He wasunhappy until old man gave
him some magic crocodile tongues. James somehow spilled the magic crocodile tongues in the
garden and they produced a giant peach where he met some creatures. James joinedthese
creatures and they lived adventures as the peach traveled around the world. The two things that
changed the life of James for the better were when his parents died and when he met his newfriends.
I think that the first reason that really changed the life of James was when his parents died
because he suffered a lot but it made him stronger. He changed from being happy tobeing a i
sad person without having someone to trust. "They were dead and gone in thirty-five seconds
flat...poor James... he found himself alone and frightened in a vast unfriendly world...Theycertainly never gave him any toys to play with his room was a bare as a prision cell. “That
showed that James at that time was not a happy child and was alone in the world. His aunts
werebad and they did not understand James.
The second experience that changed the life of James was when he met new friends, because
they went through many adventures together and now James washappy again. "And sometimes
if you were very lucky, you would find the Old-Green-Grasshopper, the ladybug, or the
Centipede...And James Henry Trotter, who once... had been the saddest andloneliest little
boy that you could find, now had all the friends and playmates in the world." That shows that
James was again happy with his new friends, and finally he learned the meaning of truefriendship.
The story of "James and the Giant Peach" has a lot of lessons that teach us to try to always be
a happy person and never to let ourselves fall because we have to fight for we...
