Modern Music, and Its Negative Effect on Children

In today's society, music has a very strong impact, especially towards the younger side of it. Many can even bemanipulated subconsciously, it maybe in a positive way, or even a negative one. Studies have shown that children who listen to punk-like-rock, or heavy metal show signs of the affected feeling abondonded orhatred. These feeling are what affect most of today's chidren. Many know how positive music like Mozart, can leave a positive impact in a child's learning environment; but just how there are positiveartist, there are negative ones that do the exact opposite.
Common issues of today are with the negative influences that portray today as a hard place to live through. The lyrics in the music beingplayed change the opinions and views of children. For instance, young girls are set below in the social status, they are made to believe that they are only tools and eventually hear it enough tobelieve it. Young men listen to this and are manipulated to take advantage of this to enforce it on young girls. Not many adults take into consideration that the lyrics in music have such a strong impact,since childrens brains are like a sponge that absorb any knowledge given to them, only they are not developed enough to distinguish what harm they are causing themselves by listening to such negativemusic . Yet those who are conscious enough to know what effects music can do, do little to help the issue.
