ESMERALDAS
TOUR

INTRODUCTION

This work is about the importance that observation tours have in civil enggineer’s life.
We learn the things of better way when we are in contact with situationsthat we are studying not only in a classroom.
I am going to talk about an observation tour that was made the first week of June, we traveled to Esmeraldas to visit the “Cuerpo de Ingenieros delEjército”.
We learnt a lot of new knowledge we visited the road Aloag – Santo Domingo that which is being expanded to four lanes, and visited the new road that cross Esmeraldas city and four bridges thatform it.

CHAPTER 1
ALOAG – SANTO DOMINGO ROAD

The observation tour was programmed for the day June 1, 2011, the place of concentration was in the Park "Sucre" at 12 pm.
We were very happy tomake this observation tour because we knew that we learn a lot.
















We arrived at the road Aloag - Santo Domingo at 6 am where we began our observation tour.This place is doing the road widening to four lanes, we saw many construction techniques used for this project involving subjects such as Mecánica de Suelos y Diseño Vial.

CHAPTER 2
VISIT TO:“CUERPO DE INGENIEROS DEL EJERCITO” AND TRAVEL BY THE ROAD

We arrived to Esmeraldas at 10 am and we received a exposition in the “Cuerpo de Ingenieros del Ejercito”, in this we learnt all that weknow about the journey by the road, the constructive processes, that was used to build the highway.

The road is form by four bridges along the highway, the principal bridge measures 420 meters,is situated In the middle of the way, all the bridges are a good engineering works.

CHAPTER 3
FUN DAY IN ESMERALDAS

When we finished the visit to the Engineers we going to the beach and we had arelax day, we visit some touristic places in the beach and we had fun all the day because could share whit all of our partners.
