6 Degrees - Notes
We are living in a world that Global Warming is one of the greatest problems for the world in any subject such as humans, animals, the oceans, cities and most important the life inthe whole planet.
Right now we are already living in a world over heated by 1 degree as we were living about 20 years ago affecting little but its noticeable. We have lost 400 cubic km of ice inthe last 40 years.
OUR CHANCES TO AVOID 1 DEGREE MORE ARE – 0%

2 Degree:
* Sydney, Australia caught fire because of the world’s overheating
* Australia is having its worst draught in 1000years
* People will die by over heat stress
* Homes near the coasts will flood because the ocean will rise enough to get to the houses
* We will see the Midwest dry so crops will not be ableto grow here again
* People will look for appropriate shelters where they can survive
* Areas that are covered by permafrost will become mud
* This is predicted to happen by the year2040
OUR CHANCES TO AVOID 2 DEGREES MORE ARE – 93% (but only if greenhouse emission are reduced by 60% for the next 10 years)

3 Degrees:
* In 2003 Europe was hit with a rare heat wave killingthousands all over the countries. Not only people died, but crops and wildlife were affected this happened when 2 more degrees overheated in Europe.
* Plants will begin to be unable to grow andinstead of getting CO2 from the air and releasing oxygen, they will only release CO2 into the atmosphere and the greenhouse gasses will increase by a big number
* Glaciers in Greenland will melt risingmore the sea level into the countries
* Animals living in the coasts will became extinct and more people will seek for shelters
* Glaciers will melt from mountains making a disaster
*Water shortages may cause a famine over the world because people rely on this as their only source of water
