Parallel lines
Parallel lines remain the same distance apart over their entire length. No matter how far you extend them, they will never meet.

Perpendicularlines
A line is perpendicular to another if it meets or crosses it at right angles (90°).

Angle
A shape, formed by two lines or rays diverging from a commonpoint.

Right Angle
Is an angle that bisects the angle formed by two halves of a straight line.

Acute Angle
Angles smaller thana right angle (less than 90°)

Obtuse angle
An obtuse angle is an angle with a measure greater than 90°.

Straight Angle
An angle whosemeasure is exactly 180°.

Supplementary angle
Two angles that add up to 180°.

Complementary angle
Two angles that add up to 90°Congruent angle
Two angles are congruent if they have the same measure.
Adjacent angels
