CCOT has realized that our Customers can save $$$ if new body panels are shipped "In The Raw" as bare steel...There is no need for CCOT to prime / finish outgoing panels just to have Installer grind off primer to weld panel in place, then re-prime $$$... All panels will ship with light coat of protective oil, then Customer can finish however desired...We receive many requests for Raw panels as Customers want to protect panels with specialty coatings such as POR-15 and Zero Rust... A clean Raw panel makes an ideal canvas to apply the protective coating of your choice without having to remove our primer... 1958 thru 1984 Quarter Panels beginat seam line just behind front doors and continue back forming corner radius and extending around to overlap rear door opening. Bottom edge of Quarter Panel is a rolled lip just like factory panel. Top edge of Quarter Panel is designed flat and straight to install just below upper channel. Gas tank opening has rolled edge (like factory) and marker light cut outs are included for years 1973 thru1984. Older models ('72 and older) have no gas tank cut out or marker light cut outs.
