Introduction/purpose: the purpose of this experiment was about density, a physical property of matter defined as the mass per unit volume of a distance at aparticular temperature and pressure. Thepurpose of this lab was to determine density of both rehular and irregular shaped objects. Also determine if the gold rod is gold and if the large and small silver rods have the same density.Hypothesis: By observing the gold rod it would have more mass than any other object because gold is havier than silver and it would also be heavier than the wooden block even though the wooden block looksgreater in volume.

Materials: Metal rods gold, silver, wooden block, water, scale, ruler, and graduated cylinder.

Procedure:
find mass of metal rods, gold, silver and wooden block byusing the scale
Find the density dividing mass volume
Find the volume of each using the graduated cylinder except for the wooden block which volume formula is base x width x height.Observations/Data:

Conclusion: Yes the purpose because I prove that the hypothesis was truth. the goldis not real gold because its density is 10.8 g/cm and real gold density is 19.3 g/cm. also the small and the long silver rods didn’t have same density.
