The singer has a name for her boobs - she calls them The Twins, reports News of the World.

The backstage artist village at T in the Park is a fairly laid- back place. Faces you know from magazine covers and posters pass by, smiling, relaxed. These huge stars can feel normal here in this little grassy sanctuary, coccooned from the screaminghordes outside. 

Glasvegas sit at a picnic table, TheKillers wander around being nice to everyone, Nine Inch Nails chat among themselves, Calvin Harris laughs with his friends and Lady Gaga looks, well, a bit mental as she cuddles up to her minder. 

No one pays any attention. This is the one place the festival’s big stars take a break from being celebrities and become just people enjoying the sun. 

Except, that is, for one surprisingly tinyAmerican girl whose presence causes a ripple of excitement to crackle in the air like the aftermath of a lightning strike. 

‘The atmosphere is charged suddenly as the door of her cabin swings open and she emerges into the sunlight, half her face hidden behind enormous shades. 

All around, people take notice. Drinks freeze mid-air. Conversations fade out. All heads swivel, all eyes lock on thesmall, colourful figure. Even in this illustrious inner circle of stars, Katy Perry is at the centre of everything. 

For a 24-year-old girl who was unknown just 12 months ago, it’s a lot to handle. It’s no wonder she finds it hard to imagine herself maintaining this level of stardom for as long as the icon she seems destined to succeed at the top of the pop pyramid. 

She said: “What Madonna hasdone is amazing. I don’t even know what the spotlight will look like in 25 years but if it’s anything like the one I live in now, I’m not so sure I will still want to be there. 

“I want to be around and be relevant, and always changing myself. 

“But I don’t know if I will still be doing jumping jacks when I’m 55. 

“It is really an accomplishment. People can love or hate Madonna but shedeserves all the respect in the world because she has sacrificed so much and worked so hard.
