Frida Kahlo.

It is the history of a brilliant mexican painter. A great woman whoexpressed passion for her culture, her people and her world. A sensitive woman who painted her pain with vibrant colours and with unique folk style. Her name was Frida Kahlo

Frida Kahlo was bornon July 6th, 1907 in the town of Coyoacan, Mexico. Since her early childhood, she started to show a great personality and life devotion despite the physical consequences that poliomelytis had leftbehind her.

When Frida was 18 years old, did she decide to go to medicine school. Did she become in one of 35 women of the first generation in that institute.

On september 17th, 1925, She wastravelling in a bus when it crashed into a trolley car. The accident was devasting and It left Frida Kahlo on the border to death. Did Frida suffer several injuries; such as a broken pelvic bone, spinalcord, and more. However, Frida recovered after several months. During her recovery time, Frida began to paint portraits of herself, friends and still life.

A long of her lifetime, Frida createdmore than 200 paintings, drawings and sketches related to her experiences in life, physical and emotional pain and her turbulent relationship with Diego. She produced 143 paintings, 55 of which areself-portraits. When someone asked why she painted so many self-portraits, Frida replied: "Because She was so often alone, because She was the subject that she know best."
Rarely did she have a"surrealist" style.It was in this portrait that she took on a very "folkloric" style with diversity colours like cobalt blue, leaf green, yelow, magenta and above all red.
Not only Frida´s paintings were themost famous as well as her fancy love story with Diego Rivera that never before had a traditional society imagined.
In 1929, She got married with the muralist Diego Rivera 20 years older than her....
