The last years of the 1580s are known as the 'lost years' of the playwright, as there is no evidence that reveal wherehe was, or why he decided to move from Stratford to London. Shakespeare died on April 23, 1616. He was married to Anne until his death and was survived by two daughters, Susannah and Judith. The firstmarried Dr. John Hall.
