Femicide In Ciudad Juárez

In this paper I will discussed an action plan to stop the femicide in Ciudad Juarez. We can talk to women that are employees at assembly plants and provided them information, who actually are the target of this community problem. Examine the responses to the actions taken to educate women about their rights, the justicethey deserve, as well as equality and respect. By providing them some conferences and encourage them to complain against the immune judicial system to offenders. By this, the Mexican government would notice the necessity of the Ciudad Juarez to reach safety on streets and workplaces. It is my intention that by reading this paper, people notice the big problem in Juarez and change the way ofthinking and acting through all this bad experience. Including the cartels issue.

Over the past fifteen years, women have been the target of sexual predators and murderers in Ciudad Juarez. As Kathleen is referring the victims, most between the ages of 13 through 30, were abducted their way to home from their workplace, assembly plants, in the unsecured streets of CiudadJuarez. After being abducted, most of them were raped, mutilated, killed and left in the streets and the desert. As the Mexican government system is corrupted, the city has turned to a battle field between drug traffickers and the police, leaving all these waves of violence without any resolution.
As most of my life I have been living in Ciudad Juarez, every morning my parents turned on the TVand watched local news with the main topic about the genocide of the female sex. I know about this issue because I have been living next to all that women killing. This is a huge problem that has been in this city since many years ago, and it still has not been solved. The police and the government did not have the interest to find who are abusing and try to solve the crimes. Over 400 cases havebeen taken place in this city leaving the majority with impunity to those who had violated the law.
I choose this topic about the injustice towards women in Ciudad Juarez because is a problem and a danger that I am and my family exposed to as every woman in the city. Now, in times, women cannot be alone in the streets, we should all be accompanied by men to be a little secured. With the Cartel drugwar and with the arrival of the Mexican army, the city has turned more unsecured than ever. This issue is so important to me because I used to spend my weekends in Juarez but not anymore and most of my family lives there, but we are all exposed to the insecurity and the impunity of the government.

Many people inside and outside of this city are worried and are against of all of thesecrimes. As the majority of the cases have not been solved, many citizens are protesting against all of this wave of violence to women and the impunity of the Mexican government. Through all these years, many protests and organizations were created in order to demand justice and solutions to the crimes.
In Ciudad Juarez, some organizations such as “Nuestras Hijas de Regreso a Casa” areprotesting so the laws protect us, Laura Segato says; clarify all the violent cases, and arrest the men who are abusing women. More and more relatives of those women who were abducted and killed are joining this cause in the search for justice. The purpose of the founders of this organization is to take this issue to national and international officials in order to find a solution, clarify the unresolvedcases, and resolve the impunity of the corrupt system of the Mexican government. Another organizations as “Ni Una Mas” and “Casa Amiga” are united for the same cause and with the desire to be notice by the United Nations Human Rights.
By our side of the border, in El Paso, the National Organization of Women (NOW) organized a campaign to end the violence against women in Ciudad Juarez....
