Global warming, our future?
In this years we have being abusing of our resources, throwing chemical
wastes intooceans or rivers, and contaminating our air. This things cause the
global warming, the increase in the average temperature of the Earth’s near-
surface air and oceans.
We are the ones that arecausing this changes on the Earth, we abuse of its
resources, we cut off our own oxygen, the trees, we throw away papers in the
streets, the factories are throwing dangerous chemicals in our oceans.If we
continue doing that we can make our world change in a drastically way. When that
happen the Earth’s temperature can increase 1.1 to 6.4 °C.
An increase in global temperature will causesea levels to rise and will change the
amount and pattern of precipitation, probably including expansion of subtropical
deserts. The continuing retreat of glaciers, permafrost and sea ice isexpected, with
warming being strongest in the Artic. Other likely effects include increases in the
intensity of extreme weather events, species extinctions, and changes in
agricultural yields.These global warming results are caused because of our ignorance, we are the
ones that cause these terrible changes to the place we live, and we are the ones
that can change it. By trying not tocontaminate our planet, by using less the car,
throwing the trash in its specific place, not cutting off our trees, and stop the
factories that throw dangerous substances into the rivers or in the air.In conclusion, I am trying to convince you, or make you see the terrible
consequences that we can face if we continue abusing of our planet. Maybe we
are not going to see it, but our childrenare the ones that are going to pass through
that scary experience. Furthermore, there are weird climate changes in different
countries, tsunamis and earthquakes around the world, so this future...
