THE SOLAR SYSTEM

The celestial bodies are grouped into galaxies, and these in turn are made up of systems. Systems are groups of planets orbiting a star. One is the solar system is made up of eight planets orbiting the Sun One of the eight planets is the Earth.
Our solar system is in a galaxy called the Milky Way. In our solar system, Earth is the third planet from the Sun This proximityseems to be the reason why it is the only planet in this system where it is possible development of life, as it receives the necessary amount of heat to give living beings.
Within the solar system are the Sun, the nearest star to us. The Sun is so great that we can compare it with an orange and earth with a grain of sand.
Around the sun orbiting the planets characterized by not produce their ownlight. Currently we knew eight planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
Pluto was formerly considered a planet, but because of their small size, scientists assigned the category of dwarf planet or planetoid.
There are also other celestial bodies that orbit the sun, like asteroids, which are much smaller than planets are rocky type. Comets are like asteroids, butbesides being rocky, are composed of ice and dust, elements that evaporate as the comet approaches the Sun, producing a long tail light.
Some asteroids and comets or traces of them can enter the Earth's atmosphere, becoming at that time known as meteors and bodies falling stars. The most famous comet is Comet Halley.
Some stars do not revolve specifically around the sun but the planets are smallerand are called satellites. The Moon is Earth's natural satellite. The moon is a rocky sphere without atmosphere or moisture, is the satellite of the earth because toured constantly around him.

The Milky Way: Our Sun is part of a huge group of stars or galaxies called the Milky Way. With its giant spiral, the Milky Way contains about 200,000 million stars. If you look on a clear night to thesky, you can see the Milky Way as a faint band across the sky.
Fact: If we could travel at the speed of light, it would take 28,000 years to reach Earth from the center of the Milky Way
Solar System: is the name given to the Sun, planets and their moons and asteroids and meteors million.
The Sun: it seems much larger and brighter than other stars because it is closer to us. Without light and heatfrom the sun, our solar system would be a dark and cold and there would be no life on earth.
Fact: the Sun is so far from us that it would take to reach the 17 years traveling by plane.
Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun spins so fast that it can resist the strong attraction of solar gravity. Mercury is a small planet has no atmosphere to protect it so that its surface is very hot andvery cold. It is arid, rocky and dotted with craters this.
Fact: for the low gravity of Mercury, a person would weigh in three times less than the Earth

Venus is the second planet from the Sun and our nearest neighbor. It is the body that looks bright in the sky just before sunrise and after the setting sun Venus is the same size of Earth but is a completely different world. It has a surfaceboiling heat and thick, poisonous atmosphere.
Fact: Venus atmosphere blocks out blue light, so if you lived on Venus would be the sky red
The Earth is our home. It is at a distance from the Sun that allows receiving the right amount of light and heat to support life. No air to breathe and plenty of water, two essential elements for plant and animals.
Fact: the earth rotates so fast that a person inthe line of Ecuador would travel a distance of 40,000 km in 24 hours at a speed of 1,666 km per hour.
The Moon: we see bright because it reflects sunlight Night after night the moon appears to change shape, this is because they travel around the Earth, the Sun illuminates different parts. Unlike Earth, the moon has no air and life and its surface is covered with craters.
Mars is a cold and...
