The singer was nominated in six categories and managed to Pop Vocal Album for "The fame monster" and best short music videofor "Bad romance."
This year the three-hour ceremony featured 16 musical productions compared with the previous nine awards.
Winners were selected by a vote of 13 thousand members of theNational Recording Academy (NARAS for its acronym in English) including musicians, composers, producers, engineers, record labels and radios.

Julieta Venegas is nominated for Best Latin Pop Album for his album"Something Else", and Nortec Collective Presents: Bostich + Fussible, under the category of Best Latin Rock, Alternative Or Urban Album for "Boulevard 2000.
