La mayoría de nosotros sabemos exactamente qué es lo que crea el dolor, la confusión, el estancamiento y la ruptura en nuestras vidas. Si se trata de un hábito, de una conducta, de una relación o el miedo, lo sabemos. Desafortunadamente, nos vemos impotentes para detener cualquier cosa que es. Algunas vecescreemos que no tenemos la disciplina o el poder de la voluntad para parar. La conducta llega a ser tan habitual que lo hacemos sin pensar. Otras veces sabemos exactamente lo que es y qué hacer, pero simplemente, de cualquier manera, continuamos haciéndolo. Somos los únicos responsables por lo que sucede en nuestras vidas. Podemos excusarnos y culpar a otros, pero somos responsables hacia y pornosotros mismos. Cuando encontremos algo o alguien creando en nuestras vidas aquello que no deseamos, debemos reunir el carácter y la fortaleza para detenerlo.

Most of us know exactly what it is that creates thepain, confusion, stagnation and disruption in our lives. Whether it is a habit, behavior, relationship or fear, we know. Unfortunately, we seem powerless to stop whatever it is. Sometimes we believe we don't have the discipline or willpower to stop. The behavior becomes so habitual we do it without thinking. Other times we know exactly what it is and what we do, but we simply keep doing it anyway. Weare the only ones responsible for what goes on in our lives. We can make excuses and blame others, but we are responsible to and for ourselves. When we find something or someone creating in our lives that which we do not want, we must muster the courage and strength to stop it.
