Families

Main lineages of the families
The main lineages of the involved families in the revolutionary facts in 1910 were two: The Alatriste's family, ofliberal lineage and their participation in the liberal fights during the XIX Mexican century, and the Serdán's family, who were liberal and they had anarchist seams. In addition to them, other two last names are important for completing the familiar revolutionary picture: The Sevilla's family and Del Valle's family. The brotherly interaction of men and women of these lineages will constitute plotand intrigue of history and legend in all of them, known generically, with some injustice for the other families, such as Los Serdán.

The Serdán Alatriste’s Family
The primordial unity of these families is between the Alatriste Cuesta and the Serdán Guanes, through marriage of María del Carmen and Manuel. María del Carmen is the daughter of a famous liberal poblano: Miguel Cástulo Alatriste,fighter in the Independencia's War and State governor. Today between poblanos it is considered illustrious this last name. Therefore, Manuel is Roque Serdán and Dolores Guanes' son. In the Serdán's family history also account, as in Alatriste's case, the participation of some of them in the Mexican liberator of the XIX century.

In the name of the Republic of Mexico and as the register of the marital status Judge, in this place I certify that in the book number twelve of courts that is in my office in the twelve folio in front and back is a marriage certificate of the following tenor: Number sixteen. In the city of Puebla de Zaragoza at twelvehours on February the seventeenth of the year of eighteen seventy three, they appeared before me in this first court of the civil Office, demonstrating their will to the C. Manuel Cerdán join in marriage (sic) and Miss Maria del Carmen Alatriste; the first one bachelor, thirty years old of age, attorney, native of Veracruz and neighbor of Puebla; legal child of a legal canonical marriage previousto the law between Mr. Roque Cerdán, of seventy years old of age, owner, native of Veracruz and neighbor of this city and of Mrs. Dolores Guanes, of forty-six years old of age, native and neighbor of this city; grandson of Mr. José Maria Cerdán's paternal relative, already parted, and Mrs. Encarnación Fernández, also departed; and for the mother side Mr. Domingo Guanes's one and Mrs. GertrudisAguirre already departed; and the second one Maria del Carmen Alatriste who is twenty-six years old of age, maid, native and neighbor of this city and legal daughter of legal marriage of already late Mr. Miguel Cástulo Alatriste and Mrs. Josefa Cuesta who is forty years old of age, natural born in Mexico and neighbor of this city, granddaughter of Mr. Joaquin Alatriste's paternal part and Mrs.Francisca Castro, and for the mother one already departed, of Mr. Domingo Cuesta and Mrs. Juana Novoa also deceased, as it consists in the death certificate number eight, folio four, turned second of the respective book.
