The Phantom of the Opera

Chapter 1 : The Angel of music

• Christine met Raoul at the beach 1880 when they were

Very young.

• Christine and her father were travelling musicians

• Christine’s father played the violin and his daughter

Was a singer (she had a beautiful voice)

• Raoul was 11 and his brother was 31

• Raoul liked Christine , he went into the sea and tookChristine scarf.

• Christine’s father said to her “from heaven I’ll send you

The angel of music.







Chapter 2 : A party at the opera house




• The Opera house was a huge building , there were

hundred of rooms , there were many corridors , many cellars

under the stage . (it’s a theater)

• In 1980 the manager of the opera house had a party , people at theParty talked about a strange man wearing a black cloak and

A white mask. ( the phantom of the opera)

• The phantom of the opera always bought tickets to

Madame Richards ( she was the ticket- seller)

• The phantom of the opera watched the opera from box number 5

• Everyone who worked at the opera house was scared of the him.













Chapter 3 : Raoul goes tothe Opera

• Raoul and Phillip go to the opera

• They wanted to see Carlotta (the best opera singer)

• That night Carlotta was ill /sick . She couldn’t sing.

Because she had seen The Phantom of the Opera.

• The manager of the Opera house had taken Christine to the Opera

To be a famous singer

• Christine’s voice was beautiful.

• Raoul met Christine at the Operahouse. He is very interested on her.

• Christine’s father had died last year. (1889)




Chapter 4 : Box Number 5




• Raoul followed Christine to talk to her , but he couldn’t meet her.

• Raoul heard Christine talking to somebody in her dressing room.

• A strange voice coming out of a mirror said

“you must sing only for me”

• There wasanother party at the opera house Philipe and

Raoul were invited.

• The guests talked about Christine, Carlotta and the phantom.

• The Persian had help to build the Opera house.

• After the party the artists were going to perform that night.

• But strange events happened because some people were sat in

Box number 5.

• A chandelier fell down on the audience .

•Some sceneries were broken

• Some costumes were torn.

• A musician disappeared.




























Chapter 5 : The mirror in the dressing room.




• After the accident at the Opera House Christine didn’t sing again.

• Raoul was deeply in love with Christine, he wanted to meet her.

• Raoul wentto the Opera House to see Christine but he heard a strange voice behind the mirror in her dressing room.

• When Christine was in front of the mirror , she disappeared.

• Christine invited Raoul to the grand ball where everybody will wear a white mask and a black cloak

Chapter 6 : The masked ball




• Raoul met Christine at the grand ball

• Christine told Raoul about Erik.

• Erik is a great teacher, architect , he lives under the stage of the Opera house.

• Raoul wanted to talk to Erik.

• Christine hadto sing for Erik

• Raoul and Christine were not alone , somebody was watching them.

























Chapter 7 : The Persian’s story

• The Persian talked to Raoul about Christine and the Angel of music.

• The Persian said he followed a strange man from Persia to France .
