Changes in atmospheric circulation

The rotation of the planet, the differences between the distance from Earth to the sun in summer and winter, and changes inthe inclination of the sun throughout the year to explain some variations or the succession of the seasons. The atmospheric dynamics is generated primarily by solarenergy, which is distributed unevenly depending on the latitude, due to the inclination to reach the surface sunlight. The amount of energy received by theatmosphere is different depending on latitude, thus generating a banded climate and atmospheric circulation.
The Earth has a series of distinct bands climatic: a polarband, around each pole, two temperate previous contact; two tropical around the tropics, and an equatorial band which, like a belt, involves the Ecuador Earth.Climatic differences between the bands are due to the existence of cells on a planetary scale atmospheric circulation. In certain latitudes dominated notable storms andprecipitation occur throughout the year, however, in other areas are almost permanent anticyclones, and the opposite effect: the drought.

The areas where rainfallis abundant are around Ecuador, and are regions that are installed in the bigger jungles of the globe (there's abundant rainfall joins a warm temperature allyear). By contrast, virtually continuous drought areas are those in which deserts are installed, such as the Sahara. These areas occupy a strip around each of thetropics. The polar regions are very dry, although accumulating snow for thousands of years in the form of ice, so are the main reservoir of fresh water on the planet.
