THE ´50s
Rock and Roll began in the ´50s. The most popular of the rockers was Elvis Aron Presley, he wasn´tlike the American singers of the ´40s. Some of his songs weren´t sweet, they were different. Teenagers all over the world fell in love with this new style.

THE ´60s
Then, in the´60s, pop exploded, a lot of groups and singers appeared.
Two British groups quickly became popular. One was The Rolling Stones that played hard rock and roll and the other group played a mixture of rock and pop, they were from Liverpool, its name was The Beatles.

In the United States, there were a lot of stars likeStevie Wonder and Diana Ross but they weren´t as famous as The Beatles.
