2. – PRESENTATION
Characterization of the subject.
This course is part of the axis of research that supports the certification process
SNEST of students, is the third time that axis. this
material provides elements for the future develop professional skills
allow the integration of a research project related to their career, without
trying to get to shape it as a scientist.
ResearchWorkshop II is located in the seventh semester, after the
student has outlined the general aspects of a draft protocol for
Research Workshop I, so the purpose of this course is
enrich, consolidate and transform it into project: basic research or
applied, such as: project creativity, business development (creating
companies, new products), technological development (generating new
technology),design, construction, equipment, prototypes, business address or
professional services.
In this subject the student develops the theoretical (conceptual framework,
historical, legal, contextual), and delves into the methodology (identification
variables, design and validation of instruments) whereas already completed
his specialty courses that allow you to place the proposal in the contextprofessional.
An important part of professional training is the ability to expose and
with solid arguments and defend their project consistent, therefore the
defense must be made before a synod composed subject teacher, the
advisor and an opponent, with the possible presence of other students.
Didactic purpose.
The teacher should be familiar with the discipline that is under their responsibility,have developed, led or participated in research projects, and
all, be willing to learn with students. Should develop
ability to coordinate teamwork and propose activities for
consider meaningful learning: learning styles of the
students, the academic environment, teacher training and the field
professional to be inserted in future professionals; directing and guiding
student work, itenhance autonomy and decision-making, have
flexibility, tolerance and ethics in the training process, and to encourage the
personal and cooperative interaction between them. In this sense, the activities of
learning proposed in this program will meet the conditions associated
of each institute, with a commitment to the skills required to
term Research Workshop II.
The focus of the course fortheir practicality, requires a process
permanent search for information and advice on student
development of the project, therefore it is essential figure of a consultant
their discipline to support, expertise required to
integrate the project structure.
Assessment should be continuous and permanent so you should consider
performance in each of the learning activities, with particular
emphasison class participation, in the analysis for the development of
documents for the construction of the theoretical framework, in reading and analyzing
texts, self-assessment, peer assessment and evaluation of activities and
compliance with the guidelines for the submission of written document
end.
Since this subject is working generic skills will be important
relate to other subjects, beinguseful for integrating
knowledge, detection and searching for solutions to particular problems
a professional field and contribute to organizational processes and transmission
knowledge.
