THE PASSIVE VOICE
Nosotros usamos la voz pasiva cuando estamos interesados en la actividad más que en quien o que hizo la acción.
Nosotros hacemos la voz pasiva con el verbo TOBE EN PRESENTE (AM,IS, ARE) o TOBE EN PASADO (WAS-WERE)
y el pasado participio (tercera columna de los verbos)
▪ COLD DRINKS ARE SOLD HERE.
BEBIDAS FRIAS SON VENDIDAS AQUÍ.
Lo importante es que las bebidasson vendidas, no quien las vende.
▪ THE TREES WERE CUT DOWN.
LOS ARBOLES FUERON CORTADOS
Lo importante es que los son cortados, no quien los cortó.
← Algunas veces, necesitamossaber quien hace la accion. Asi que usamos un agente.
▪ “ROMEO AND JULIET” WAS WRITTEN BY SHAKESPEARE.
“ROMEO Y JULIETA FUE ESCRITA POR SHAKESPEARE.
