Hello Mrs. I want to share with you the experiences of my last vacations. I travelled to Ibague with my mother and sister, and we were very excited about sharing some precioustime with my grandmother and the rest of my family. We had very special moments since the city was celebrating the San Juan´s Fair so we had the opportunity to visit and enjoydifferent activities. There was a beauty pageant and the departments of Colombia who were participating performed a typical dance of their region, it was so beautiful and Ilearned a lot about the culture of each region of my country.
My mother´s birthday was on June the 29th, and we went to celebrate it at the restaurant where my parents got engaged,and she found out that the waiter was the same one that 16 years ago, so that brought a lot of memories into her mind.
My aunt invited my mother to a salsa concert as abirthday present, I had the illusion of going with them to be with my mom but it was only for people over 18 years old, and because I look exactly like my aunt she lent me her ID andI was able to get into the concert. Unfortunately the concert was supposed to start at 8 pm, and it was 12 in the morning and the concert had not started yet, so we decidedto leave because my mother was falling asleep.
We also went to the gastronomical food fair, where we had the opportunity to eat typical Colombian food and food from othercountries, I decided to try Peruvian food. We also watched some dance performances in that fair and my favourite one was the dance from the Atlantic region of Colombia.
