ROCK AND ROLL HISTORY
The words ‘rock and roll’ have their origin in nautic, they have been used by sailors during centuries. ‘Rock is a moving towards and backwards and ‘Roll’ is a left and rightmoving like a boat.
This kind of music became so powerful and popular that every American artist published a record of this new gender. It combined different musical genders:
* Blues.
*Boogie woogie.
* Jazz.
* Rhythm and blues.
* Gospel.
THE ROLLING STONES
The Rolling Stones are one of the greatest rock and roll bands in the world. Their appeal is universal, their sound isall their own and their story's unique.
The Rolling Stones is a British rock band from London. Since their tour around the United States in1969, they named themselves “The biggest rock and roll bandof the world”. It was founded in 1962 by Brian Jones, to whom joined Mick Jogger, Keith Richards, Ian Stewart, Geoff Bradford and Dick Taylor. Tony Chapman supported them in the drums during theirfirst presentations. After Bradford, Taylor and Chapman left, Bill Wyman the bass and Charlie Watts the drummer replaced them, respectively. As a request of their manager, Stewart was out of the groupin 1963, although he went on collaborating in the record sessions and a manager. Brian Jones was dismissed in 1969, and he died a little time after that. Mick Taylor took his post but he would leavethe group in 1975 and he would be replaced by Ron Wood. When Bill Wyman retired in 1993, they included the bass Darryl Jones, who despite playing with the band from the record of the album “VoodooLounge” in 1994 to today, he isn´t an official member.
Their first creations included blues, rock and roll and Northamerican R&B, but later they added other genders like country, punk, disc music,reggae and electronic music. They and The Beatles together leadered “The British invasion” in the early 1960s. They hit the charts around the world with the song “I Can´t Get No Satisfaction” in 1965....
