RESUMEN

Al hablar de inteligenciaemocional, se hace énfasis en la capacidad de reconocer sentimientos propios, ajenos y la habilidad para manejarlos a través de la misión, visión, mega, valores familiares, personales, profesionales, ciudadanos, entre otros, de la Policía Nacional de Colombia. La inteligencia emocional se puede organizar a través de cinco fortalezas tales como el conocimiento de las emociones y sentimientospropios, el aprender cómo manejarlos; a su vez, como reconocerlos, crear una propia motivación y gestionar las relaciones que el uniformado tiene con la comunidad respetando sus derechos como ciudadanos, haciendo énfasis en el uso legitimo de la fuerza.

La inteligencia emocional es una habilidad que no todo el mundo puede desarrollar ya que esta inteligencia comprende no solo saber manejar lasemociones y comportamientos, sino también, entender las emociones y reacciones que tienen las demás personas, saber comprender sus reacciones ante las circunstancias que diferentes situaciones surgen en el día a día. Es ahí donde radica la importancia de la elaboración de este ensayo, ya que a través de él se pretende analizar de forma sencilla el papel que juega la inteligencia emocional, en elmomento de llevar a cabo los procedimientos policivos para no incurrir en el uso ilegitimo de la fuerza.

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE PEOPLE WHO BELONGS TO THE NATIONAL POLICE IN THE USE OF LEGITIME FORCE.

ABSTRACT

Just having spoken about emotional intelligence, emphasis is done in the aptitude torecognize our own foreign feelings and the skill to handle them across the mission, vision, gentle, familiar, personal, professional, civil values, between others, of the State police of Colombia. The emotional intelligence can be organized across five strengths such as the knowledge of the emotions and own feelings, to learn how to handle them; in turn, like to recognize them, to create an ownmotivation and to manage the relations that the uniformed people has with the community respecting his rights and citizens, doing emphasis in the use I legitimize of the force.

The emotional intelligence is a skill that not the whole world can develop since this intelligence understands not only to be able to handle the emotions and behaviors, but also, understand the emotions and reactions thatthe other people have, for having the gift to be able to understand his reactions before the circumstances that different situations arise in day after day. It is there where it takes root in the importance of the production of this test, since across him one tries to analyze of simple form the paper that plays the emotional intelligence, in the moment to carry out the police procedures not toincur on the illegitimate use of the force.

INTRODUCCIÓN

Mientras que el personal uniformado que pertenece a la Policía Nacional de los Colombianos tenga un buen desarrollo de la inteligencia emocional, el uso de la fuerza siempre será legítimo en el accionar de sus procedimientos y desempeño laboral. Cuandola inteligencia emocional no se usa de forma adecuada, es evidente que el uso de la fuerza se convierta en ilegitima y ocurrirán situaciones que la comunidad critica en contra de la institución por la violación a los Derechos Humanos de los ciudadanos.
