“Into The Wild ”

In the movie"Into the wild" is shown the extreme decision of Christopher McCandless, leaving everything he ever had in his life so far, money, school, family, to live as natural as possible, without luxuries orcomforts, in nature, living right and focusing fully on it, to make finding yourself, and know what it is, in the absence of the living environment had had throughout its existence. He didn’t wantedto be part of society anymore so he burned his money and changed his name to Alexander Supertramp.
What makes Chris take this decision was the family crisis, which had lived throughout his life, acrisis based on, lies, violence and abuse common among parents, who formed anger in Christopher and this level of rejection of this situation.
In my opinion Christopher has more strengths thanweaknesses. One of the greatest virtues I find in him is that he was very clear that happiness is not about material things. He found happiness in simple details of your existence, specially appreciated eventhe simplest thing. This is shown in situations such as when he find the cap, when he eats the apple and when he enjoys the beautiful sceneries. Another virtue he had was how he perceive the world alsohe believed in her own values, and he doesn’t care what other people thought about him. He was a very kind guy he give $24,000 to charity.
I think he learned from his mistakes because he thoughtthat he could reached happiness in loneliness but at the end he understood that “Happiness only real when shared”.
One of his big weaknesses is that he didn’t had the ability to forgive because henever forgived his parents. He isn’t selfish but he made a very selfish act because he didn’t thought about her family that suffered alot.
